It’s beginning to look a lot like a kitchen,Ev’rywhere you turn
Take a look at the cabinet drawers, as empty as can be
But soon they’ll have the tools a cook must use.
It’s beginning to look a lot like a kitchen
Cabinets ev’rywhere
But the prettiest sight to see is the cooking that will be
Done in our own place.

Clever post!! I like your Christmas theme. You've waited a LONG time for a new kitchen, and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. It looks lovely!!
ReplyDeleteHurrah, it is coming along so quickly (well that's because I'm not cooking in the family room or eating cold cereal every meal or washing dishes in the bathtub!) It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen has CONSUMED our life since Richard got back from AZ/UT/AZ on the 7/24. Long days and lots of problem solving. Not to mention a lot of screws tightened and nails driven. BUT had to get as much done as possible before school started for teachers (today). It's been cold food for breakfast and lunch with disposable utensils/plates (plastic knives don't work well for getting p'nut butter out of the lower half of a jar) and dinner (and dishes) at Janet's.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Mom and Dad. Did you decide about the backsplash?
ReplyDeleteWe've got the tile - just have to decide on a design. But I figure I've got a few weeks to make that decision.
